The American Bulldog is a working breed and happily there are a lot of Bulldogs that are still working in some venue or another.
All the dogs at Hardly Dangerous Kennels are working towards or already have working titles. Whether it's hog catching, weight pulling or man work, just to name a few jobs, American Bulldogs are happy to work. They are a very capable and versatile dog.
We need to work hard to keep this breed a healthy, stable and capable dog. We need to breed carefully, choose truely above average dogs. Don't over produce! Let's not let our breed go the way so many others have over the years, changing almost into a different breed from where they started from. It's up to us, Bulldog owners and breeders, to keep this breed the one we love, admire and have as working partners.
